Canine College is an outreach obedience dog training program for the whole family.
Offered by trainers from Our Furry Friends Training Centers, Canine College uses
effective, up-to-date and humane methods. We offer convenient and affordable private
lessons in your home and neighborhood, in Sacramento, El Dorado, Calaveras and
Amador Counties.
You can join the private personalized lessons at Canine College at any level. We
include an AKC Canine Good Citizen test for FREE at the completion of Level 2. We
even offer College Prep Programs for puppies!! For more info click on Private

- Individualized programs for each person-dog team so that you make faster
progress than you ever imagined!!
- Certification of dogs through the AKC Canine Good Citizen Test at the
completion of Canine College Level 2
- Guidance and hands-on help with training your dog in your own home and other
real-life situations including downtown Main Street, at your local parks . . .
wherever your dog needs the practice most!!
Small group classes are also available including Preparing and Training for Therapy
Dog Visits, Helping the Cautious Canine, Good Manners Basic Obedience, S.T.A.R.
Puppy Program, Agility For Fun and more at various locations in El Dorado and some

Since 1999, Cherie Maitland of Our Furry Friends has offered small group classes, in-
home lessons, private lessons in real-life settings, phone consultations, and behavioral
appointments dealing with more serious issues. She offers a free phone consultation
to help you decide on the best avenue for your training. There may be instances where
taking group classes plus participating in our individualized programs would make a
good training combination!
Graduation with an "Associate Degree" after Level 2 includes a framed certificate and
Canine Good Citizen Certification after you pass your CGC test!! If you continue on to
your "Bachelors Degree" you receive your "Diploma," a framed graduation photo of you
and your dog, and some wonderful free training items.
